Alberto DI GAETANO, graduated in architecture and urban planning at the University of the Mediterranean in Reggio Calabria, carries out his professional activity in the city of Catania where he was born in 1961. Technical consultant for the Courts, he has specialized in historic buildings, castles and fortifications , having held, since the graduation thesis on the castles of Frederick II of Swabia, the role of head of youth delegation of the Italian Institute of Castles onlus – Sicily section.
In 1986 he patented a writing and reading system for the blind that uses ordinary characters with traditional pen and paper. A research project is currently underway for the technological transfer of applications of manual devices for electronic devices.
Since 1995 he has founded service companies for businesses, non-profit associations, social cooperatives and consortia for economic development in Sicily. Since 2005 he has specialized in the management of European funds for public and private companies and participated as a teacher in training courses in euro planning.
